Gender, Equity, and Justice Summit

The Stanford Women’s Community Center hosts the annual Gender, Equity, and Justice Summit. Over the years, the summit has become an annual event to celebrate leaders who are raising awareness of issues related to equity in their fields and working to make change in their lives and communities.

The Gender, Equity, and Justice Summit 2022 will be focused around the idea of lifelong feminism and activism, and what it means for young people today to lead lives and careers centered around a passion for social justice while also practicing care for their communities. In particular, how can we approach the coming months emerging from a global pandemic and a year filled with turmoil and injustice with compassion, care, self and community love to heal? We aim to recognize a diverse set of experiences of what activism looks like in practice, and empower participants to continue fighting for justice, all the while encouraging healing and love.
