Women’s Community Center Open House Date: Tuesday, September 14th, 2021 (3:00PM- 4:00PM PST) Location: Front of WCC Welcome Class of 2025 and transfers! Join the Women’s Community Center for our outdoor open house where you can meet current student and professional staff, pick up some delicious snacks and refreshments to go, and learn more about the events and opportunities at the Women’s Community Center. You’ll also have a chance to pick up an Arts and Crafts kit for our NSO Crafternoon event!

Want to decompress and recharge with the WCC before your first week of classes? Then join us on Zoom for a chill afternoon of collective healing and community building through gender equity-themed arts and crafts! Come chill with us and get to know your fellow new classmates while we sit back, relax, enjoy some snacks, and express our creativity through planting your very own succulents and decorating the pots! You can RSVP for this event and pick up a Crafternoon kit at our WCC Open House and throughout NSO Week at the Fire Truck House.

Are you an aspiring STEM major and/or curious about gender representation in these fields at Stanford? Then join us for our We Are STEM Panel on Zoom where faculty in science, math, and engineering departments will discuss their journeys into academia, how they discovered a passion for STEM, and how they have navigated male-dominated fields. In addition, you will learn about diverse experiences and opportunities available to you in STEM at the Women’s Community Center and beyond.

Join our Zoom panel to hear from the leaders of various WVSOs (Women’s Voluntary Student Organizations) and other student leaders from across campus. In this panel discussion, you will hear about the opportunities that these groups provide for community building, career advancement, activism, and mentorship. In addition, the panelists will share their own journeys at Stanford and their best advice for those seeking leadership at both Stanford and beyond.
